Bird House
This past weekend we went camping and it was so beautiful
outside but freezing cold!!
Something about being outside just seems to reconnect you with nature and gave me some great ideas that I wanted to incorporate in my laundry room. ( Stay tuned for my laundry room tour later this week!!) I had this plain bird house and wanted to spruce it up a little, so with a little stenciling and moss from the craft store this is what I came up with:
So cute right!! I had a
little black and white paint and mixed them together, just so the black didn't
look to harsh, and used a paper towel as my sponge/brush and stenciled it on the
front side. Then added the moss to the roof. I also had some dried flowers and a
little birdie on hand and added that too! And there you have it!! Got it done
while my little boy was napping!!

Cute Wash Sign
I have a great sign that sits on my mantel, and I LOVE
IT.!!!
I've been wanting to do something similar to it for my Laundry Room so this is what I came up with:
I started with a piece of wood I found on this side of our house
And wrapped some burlap around the front and stapled the back.
Then I sprayed white spray paint on the center part of it. And then stenciled the WASH sign on top after the white spray paint dried in black. I initially did it really light in black and had to go back over it darker!
At my last Michael's trip, I purchased these cute fabric flowers and hot glued them on along with some greenery.
And Waalaa!!
