Bringing in the Old..
Today I would like to share with you my headboard in our
master bedroom!!! We didn't have one, so I knew I needed to get creative...
hmm...and I didn't want to spend anything, so off to the garage I
went...
Do you see what I see? No, not the tool box, the wrought iron laying on the floor there!!! My mind is stirring of ideas!!!! Husband beware!!! LOL
I also had a couple of old windows that I got for FREE when I visited my brother in Vegas, so I thought I could try them also.
Here's what I came up with..
I Love it!! So does my Husband. Didn't spend a dime, yipee!! Tell me what you think!

Mini Front Door Makeover
When we moved in our home 6 months ago, our focus was to
just get the old carpet removed ( it was gross, full of pet
urine ugh!) and didn't really focus at all on the front of the
house.
My front door needed a little refreshing, you know a little umph, PIZAZZ!! So I worked on it a little yesterday. Still needs a little more TLC but it is waaaayyyy better.
Here's a couple of before pictures
and here's the New Mini Makeover
I added a burlap bow, and a cute little bird to a wreath that I purchased at Michael's using a 40% off coupon...
And also a fern at my local grocery store
adding a welcome sign makes an inviting entry to your home. I bought this through The House of Smiths.
So, there it is, with just a couple of things and some TLC, It really made for a nice entry, and I get complements all the time!!!
Have you spruced up your front door? Please share with me!!

Our Mantel
Hello Ladies! I wanted to do a quick post today on my
fireplace mantel and how I currently have it decorated! We moved into this house
about 6 months ago and fell in love with the double sided fireplace! So, here is
the first side
And here is the other side
I'm still deciding on this side whether I like it or not. So, if you have any ideas I would love to hear from you!! Anyway, just wanted to share!!
